- Authoritative institutional guidance explaining the record type or conservation method.
- Contemporary reports and responsible local histories with citations.
- Indexes, transcriptions, maps, obituaries, and user-contributed pages used as leads.
A lower tier may point toward evidence; it does not become the evidence merely through repetition.

Conflicts
When names, dates, addresses, or categories conflict, we preserve the variants, describe their sources, and avoid selecting a winner without sufficient evidence. Current visitor information is not inferred from an old plan, filing address, or third-party directory.
