Current launch configuration
The static launch package contains no account, comment form, newsletter, analytics script, advertising script, behavioral tracker, payment tool, or non-essential cookie. Cloudflare may process ordinary network and security data such as IP address, request time, URL, user agent, and security signals to deliver and protect the site under its own terms.
Contact correspondence
If you contact the publisher by post, information you voluntarily provide is used to review and answer the request, document a correction or rights issue, and meet legal obligations. Do not send sensitive or unnecessary material.
Future Google advertising
If Google AdSense is activated, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device or browser identifiers, and related technologies to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize advertising as permitted by law and user choices. Third parties may place or read cookies in a browser or use web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving. Consent regions
Before serving ads to users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the publisher must deploy a Google-certified consent management platform where required, offer clear choices, and provide a way to revisit or withdraw consent. Advertising must not be activated until that configuration matches the live site.
Retention and rights
Hosting/security logs and correspondence are retained only as needed for delivery, security, corrections, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or consent withdrawal. Send a specific, non-sensitive request through the contact route.
Children
The publication is written for general heritage and research audiences and does not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. It has no profile, chat, upload, or behavioral account feature.
Changes
This policy will be revised before new analytics, advertising, forms, or other material data practices go live. The effective date will change when a substantive revision is published.
